Sales, in the version that works, is helping someone make a decision that is right for them. This path is the introduction. Seven days, written for the person who has never sold professionally but suspects they probably should know how. By the end you will have a working picture of what sales is, why it matters even for people who do not have sales in their job title, and a few small moves you can use this week.
What sales actually is.
Day 1 starts in a car dealership with the version of sales most people picture, then takes the version apart. Sales done well is closer to careful conversation than to pressure. The doctor, the junior employee, the parent — all are doing sales without calling it that. You will leave Day 1 with a different definition than the one you walked in with.
